Lot 2334

1863. ICG graded Proof 65. Delicately toned. A frosted-relief Gem Proof with strong underlying mirror freshness supported by the desirable Proof 65 grade. Rich highlights on both sides. Nicely struck for the date, as well, fully so in fact, and certainly a coin that gets honorable mention where crispness in the design is concerned. Only 460 minted for this popular Copper-Nickel type coin.
Estimated Value $1,500 - 1,600.
