1798 S-159 R3 Small 8, Style I Hair F12. Glossy medium brown blending to darker chocolate brown in protected areas. A splash of chocolate toning in the lower curls at the shoulder and a thin nearly vertical nick close before the lower lip are the best identifying marks. The planchet is smooth, void of any corrosion or verdigris. MDS, Breen state IV. The vertical die cracks in the field behind the portrait are strong.
