1853 Dollar Octagonal. Breen and Gillio-530. Rarity 2. NGC graded MS-62. Light golden toning. A satiny and Octagonal Dollar with a nuance of faint greenish gold on both sides. The strike is complete down to the smallest design features (including the small beads that line the upper edge of Liberty’s coronet), rarely do we expect such strength of detail. The design is carefully crafted and all elements properly positioned on the die with an eye to aesthetic appeal.Pop 24; 10 finer.
