1878. PCGS graded Proof 58+. CAC Approved. Only 20 Proofs minted. Nicely toned with a few marks otherwise a few points higher. The dates right up to 1879 all have low to extremely low Proof mintage; but from 1879 to 1889, production increased markedly mainly due to speculator demand. Pop 1; 3 finer, 1 in 64, 2 in 65 (PCGS # 7628) .
