Lot 112

1854 C-1 R1+ MS60+. Lustrous light greenish olive brown with overtones of light bluish steel in protected areas. Very sharply struck showing needle-sharp details throughout. The only marks are a tiny speck of carbon nestled between two dentils under the 8 and very faint hairlines in the fields on both sides. Very early die state, Manley state 1.0 early, with hard, slightly reflective fields.
