1853-C. PCGS graded AU-58 CAC Approved. Well struck and sparkling with untoned golden luster. A Premium Quality coin for the given grade. Only 11,515 minted of which merely 150 examples are estimated to have survived. Although the surfaces do show very minor abrasions from circulation, overall, this is one of the finer About Uncirculated 1853-C gold dollars. Winter notes that this is one of the rarest Charlotte Mint gold dollars in Mint condition, so a lovely AU58 is the ideal candidate. Pop 9; 22 finer (PCGS # 7522) .
