1863. PCGS graded Proof 64. Well struck and basically untoned. Although struck on a planchet made of copper and nickel -- which is a very tough, hard alloy -- the Mint did a splendid job when striking this choice Proof. All devices show their smallest details. Pop 72; 23 in 65, 6 in 66, 1 in 67 (PCGS # 2262) .
