1805. . BD-1 Close Date, Breen-6445. PCGS Genuine. Our grade is Sharpness of AU-58 and cleaned. The first die pair listed in Dannreuther, the date has a Perfect 1, with numerals close. On the reverse, the defining feature is a leaf that touches I in UNITED (on BD-2, the I is well away); IT close. This is the most available variety of 1805 with perhaps 200 known. It is from the only 1805 obverse die with the left foot of the 1 intact (PCGS # 8088) .
