Lot 1891

1889. PCGS graded Proof 64 PQ. A very choice Proof example with lovely deep golden toning. Only 1,779 struck. Bright and glittering, the uniformly reflective fields sparkle with a smooth sheen. Well struck and impressively preserved, as are most Proof Gold Dollars, with the color dancing across both sides of this glassy Proof 64. All in all a thing of beauty and technical merit for such a specimen. Pop 14; 20 finer (PCGS # 7639) .
Estimated Value $4,000 - 4,400.

Realized $5,175
