1847. PCGS graded Proof 61 PQ. Well struck with uniform light grsy toning and fine hairlines. We see this coin at least a point higher thus our Premium Quality designation. More elusive than the 1840 and 1846, the 1847 is probably of similar overall rarity to the Proof Seated Dollars produced from 1842-1845 and in 1848. An estimate of only 15-20 Proofs known. Pop 1; 6 finer (PCGS # 6988) .
