Goldberg Coins and Collectibles

Sale 65

Lot 1232

1834. Small date and letters. PCGS graded MS-62. Attractively toned, the chief virtue of this piece is its smooth-flowing luster which covers the entire surface, enveloping it in originality. Another virute, never to be overlooked, is the sharpness in the hair curls and eagle feathers. Though we do see some minor weakness at the end of Liberty's bust where it comes up opposite a high point on the other side of the coin. All in all a choice exmaple. Pop 39; 99 finer (PCGS # 6166) .
Estimated Value $900 - 1,000.

Realized $1,265
