MA-8, 1962, FLOWN Helmet "Earphone" ("2") The earphone in Schirra's helmet had to be replaced after the flight (caused by a "sneeze?). The earphone has red handstamps including "Apr-7, 1960" on the reverse. It is sealed in clear plastic with a consignor's note that reads: "Schirra / Flight Oct. 3, 1962. Flight Earphone". An important piece of memorabilia.
