1872. PCGS graded Proof 65 Red. Mellowing mint red color. Only 950+ Proofs struck. Even the finest, most delicate detail seen on this Indian cent struck with uncommon exactness for a Proof issue; were it only possibly for all the design to be as sharp on other Indian cent pieces a collector would have no problem assembling a Gem Proof set, but that isn't possible for this series. A strong bid is indicated. Pop 12; 6 finer by a point (PCGS # 2305) .
