1863. ICG graded Proof 65. Delicately toned with a scattered fly speck here and there. Concerning the devices on this handsome Gem Proof, these were struck with sufficient power by the dies that they left all design elements showing, and showing clearly, unlike many copper-nickel dates where a few areas are mushy. Only 460 Proofs struck.
