1883 Hawaiian Quarter Dollar. NGC graded MS-64. Mostly untoned, agreeably choice and frosty white, and just a shade under full Gem quality. Bold beard and hair curls on King Kalakaua (reigned 1874-91). Hawaii was a Monarchy before it became a U.S. Territory (1900) and the 50th State (1959) (PCGS # 10987) .
