Kingdom of Macedon. Alexander III, the Great, 336-323 BC. AR Tetradrachm (17.05 g) attributed to Babylon, c. 311-305 BC. Head right of Herakles, wearing lion's skin headdress. Reverse: Zeus enthroned left, holding eagle and scepter; monograms and ax in field. Price 3753; M. 747. Of the finest style and struck in high relief. Superb Extremely Fine.

Struck by the Seleukid king Seleukos, this coinage is inscribed with the name of Alexander. It was minted in immense quantities with this particular example being pretty much unimprovable.
