1805 C-1 R2- VF20. Double Struck Reverse. Slightly sharper with a couple short scratches on the cheek and in the hair to the left. Glossy chocolate brown with frosty lighter brown toning in protected areas and a few small puffs of darker olive and steel toning on the obverse. LDS, Manley state 2.0. The reverse is clearly double struck but the obverse shows no trace of doubling. The offset between impressions on the reverse is very small, perhaps a half millimeter. Nonetheless, the doubling is sharp and clearly visible on the entire wreath and HALF CENT with minor doubling visible on the legend outside the wreath.
Estimated Value $200-UP.
