Lot 702

1794 C-2a R2+. PCGS graded VF-30. Rather glossy dark steel brown and olive with traces of frosty lighter steel brown toning in protected areas on the reverse. The surfaces are decent but a glass reveals extremely fine granularity covering all but the highpoints. No verdigris. The only notable marks are a dull nick on the lower lip and a thin scratch through UNI. The date is bold and the legends are complete. EDS, Manley state 1.0, prior to any die clashmarks. The edge letters are not visible in the slab, but the more common Small Edge Letters are assumed. Our grade is net F15.
Estimated Value $2,000-UP.
The William Pannier Estate.

Realized $2,415
