De Bouthillier, Guy (1893-1962) Born in Paris, Guy was the son of Marquis Charles DeBouthillier-Chavigny, a minister of France. He studied painting with Claude Monet for three years and for two years with Picasso and Sargent. By 1932 he had moved to Glendale, CA. He died there on March 14, 1962. Primarily a watercolorist.

Original watercolor on paper. Men with their boats on the beach. Signed and dated '37 lower left corner. Size 21" x 14½", matted and framed to an overall size of 31½" x 25½" under plexiglass.
