One would be hard pressed to locate a more pristine 1909 Barber Half Dollar in this grade, even if one were known to either NGC or PCGS. The richly frosted, icy white devices seem like a blizzard of unimpeded mint luster. Surrounding, sleek mirrors. Even the finest, most delicate detail is seen on this coin struck with the indispensable sharpness for the issue collectors have come to expect for the grade; were it only possibly for all the Proof Barbers to look like this remarkable specimen!
