Barnum, Phineas Taylor (1810-1891) American Circus man, founder "Barnum & Bailey Circus." Inscribed Visiting Card Signed. Approximately 3½ x 2¼", on cream card stock, with Barnum's decorative blind embossed monogram at upper left. Interesting and attractive card which finds the circus impresario wining-and-dining the representative of the King of Siam. Barnum has inscribed the card above and below his printed name: "Admit Consul General for Siam & friend -- (2) … including seats in Editorial Box P.T. Barnum." Mounting traces on verso.
