1802 S-228 R2 Error Fraction 1/000. VF-30. Ten points sharper but lightly cleaned and retoned glossy chocolate and olive brown with underlying lighter golden brown toning covering much of the reverse. No roughness or notable marks, the surfaces just a couple trivial contact marks from flawless. M-LDS, Breen state V. Die flaking is evident in the obverse fields and there are numerous die cracks on the reverse. The error fraction feature is obvious. Called EF40 net VF25 and tied for CC#20 in the Noyes census, his photo #38295.
