1838 N-14 R7 F12. Fine-12. Glossy chocolate brown. Some light nicks scattered about both sides, including three sharp ones on the rim at the E in UNITED. Extremely rare terminal die state with a large cud break at star 6 reaching star 5 and the dentils above star 7. The dentil fusing between stars 7 & 8 remains visible. Second finest of this popular die state. Called F12 and CC#2 of those few known with the large cud break in the Noyes census, his photo #39377. DWH #1895.
