Great Britain. Pattern Halfpenny, ND (c.1713). P-720. Struck in copper. Anne, 1702-1714. Obverse: Draped bust of Queen. Reverse: Intertwined rose and thistle. Obverse 1. Reverse. B. Toothed border with plain edge. A lovely coin which was the product of Sir Isaac Newton's experimentation with copper coinage types when he was Master of the Mint in London. NGC graded MS-63 Brown.
