1831 N-9 R2 VF20. Double Profile. VF-20. Five points sharper but recolored glossy very dark bluish steel. The only marks are some light nicks on the obverse, none notable. MDS. The second die crack down from star 5 reaches the upper right point of star 4, and this crack is clear. The area between those cracks has not yet started to rise. A clear double profile shows from the forehead down to the chin with additional doubling visible on many of the stars (all caused by die bounce). DWH #0768.
