1831 N-4 R3 VF25+. Small Letters Reverse. VF-25+. Glossy medium brown and chocolate, the obverse woodgrained. Smooth and attractive, only minor contact marks, none notable. Flowline luster covers the protected areas, especially on the reverse. Close to VF30. Late die state with fine die cracks at stars 8 & 9 to the dentils at both ends. Called VF25 choice and tied for CC#14 in the Noyes census, his photo #31657. DWH #3306.
