Marcus Aurelius, AD 161-180. AE Sestertius minted at Rome, AD 174. Laureate, cuirassed and draped bust right of Marcus Aurelius. Reverse: Jupiter seated left, holding Victory and scepter. Cf. RIC 1096 and 1109 (marks at 11 o'clock reverse prevent positive referencing). Lightly smoothed, but with handsome and forceful portrait. Even, dark patination; Choice Very Fine.
