1887 Morgan Dollar. PCGS graded Proof 65. Only 710 Proofs struck. Mostly untoned. An affordable year for Proof Morgans, and often used for Type purposes. The devices are keenly sharp and struck with care, this year did not suffer the striking problems that some other Proof issues seen before and after 1887. Delicate toning in areas on each side of this splendid, reflective proof striking. Pop 26; 15 finer, 11 in 66, 3 in 67, 1 in 68 (PCGS # 7322) .
