1860-O Liberty Seated Dime. NGC graded AU-55. 40,000 pieces struck. Only one variety is known of this date. A solid, light silver-gray About Uncirculated 55 example, there are some light hairlines visible under closer examination. Of the rather meager mintage, only a minuscule percentage has made it down to the present, most disappeared. There are only a few Mint State examples known of this date, and these are extremely expensive; even high grade circulated pieces such as that offered here are very rare! Pop 1; 3 finer, 2 in 64, 1 in 67.
