1827 Capped Bust Dime. . JR-3, R-1. NGC graded MS-65. Mostly well struck on a problem-free planchet. The obverse surfaces are semi reflective and all is delicatly toned. A resplendent Gem that has beautiful fields and devices. Lustrous and carefully reserved. A faint die crack connects the top of Liberty's cap to the rim and the eagle's shield displays solid gules stripes on this common variety, both characteristic of the die marriage. Pop 20; 5 in 66, 2 in 67.
