1796 Draped Bust Dime. NGC graded AU-53. Only 22,135 pieces struck. Light friction from use in commerce, the smooth, even surfaces show a decided contrast from gray toning around the legends and devices. The main surface area is light silver-gray. The only weak spot in the strike is seen at the center, where some of the lovelock curls remain indistinct. There is a sharp center dot below Liberty's ear, however. A couple of small marks on the eagle.
