1851 N-8 R3. MS-62. Frosty golden light olive with overtones of sea-green and traces of faded red showing on the reverse. Satiny mint frost covers the planchet, including the highpoints. The only mark is a tiny spot of dark steel toning over the left top of the U in UNITED. M-LDS, die state a late. The die lump on the neck is clear and the dull line over the M is weak but still visible. Tied for CC#4. Removed from an NGC slab graded MS65 Red & Brown (NGC label included).
