1835 N-7 R1. EF-40. Head of 1836. Double Profile. Frosty chocolate and steel brown delicately mottled with slightly lighter chocolate. Virtually flawless, only microscopic marks from perfect. LDS with tiny lumps from fine die rust on both sides and swelling inside the wreath. This is Newcomb's old #17. In addition, there is a clear double profile (caused by die bounce) from the forehead down to the chin plus doubling on many of the stars.
