1817 N-16 R1 15-Star Obverse. PCGS graded AU-58. Glossy chocolate and steel with lustrous lighter steel brown toning showing in the protected areas and traces of very faded mint color bleeding through on both sides. No defects, just a tough of light wear on the highest points of the design. Great eye appeal. A tiny nick on the front edge of the neck is a good identifying mark. E-MDS, before the rim cud break over AM. The reverse is slightly misaligned to K-2. A very nice example of this popular "Redbook" variety. Our grade is AU50.
