(1659) Idler Imitation of the Maryland Denarium (Penny) Kenney-2 in copper. MS-63. Struck by William Idler circa 1860 as an advertising card. Choice lustrous chocolate and light olive with traces of faded mint color remaining. The fields are smooth and slightly reflective. A premium example of Idler's imitation of the Lord Calvert denarium issued for Maryland in 1659. Weight 77.5 grains.
