Lot 274

1786 Vermont Ryder-6 R2. VERMONTENSIUM landscape type. PCGS graded EF-45. Glossy light to medium brown with chocolate toning on the highpoints. The planchet is well above average with only a couple trivial planchet voids near the rim. The surfaces are not perfectly smooth but the roughness is microscopic and is limited to the fields. The obverse is struck slightly off center to the bottom leaving the bottom of the date tight to the edge, but the remainder of the legends on both sides are complete and clear. EDS, before the obverse die cracked. A very nice example of this popular Landscape type.
Estimated Value $3,000-UP.

Realized $3,450
