(1667-69) New Jersey Saint Patrick Farthing Breen-212 Griffee G31-6/5d R7 PCGS graded "Genuine". Sharpness F12 or slightly better but covered with minor roughness, strongest in the protected areas and relatively smooth on the devices. No verdigris or notable marks. A bit softly struck below the king but the legends are complete and easily readable. Rather glossy chocolate and olive brown with lighter brown toning on the highpoints. Clearly superior to the Griffee example, which was the second finest of only 5 known to him. Our grade is net VG8.
