1984 Official Olympic International Flag Pin Series. Beautiful, complete set in the original frame and Official Olympic box. Created by Coca-Cola, the 150 pins show Sam the Olympic Eagle carrying the flag of each of the countries scheduled to attend as of mid-1982, when the flags were manufactured, including the Soviet Union, East Germany, Cuba, and 14 other countries who would boycott the games. The name of each country is engraved on the back of its pin. A diagram shows the location of each pin. The attractive wooden frame is 21 x 25 in. and ready for display. Rare.
Acommpanied by a 86 x 32½ in. banner with "Welcome LA 84 Olympics" in purple, pink, green, orange lettering against a white background, except for "Welcome" which is white against an orange background.
