Great Britain. Shilling, ND. S.2796. Charles I, 1625-1649. Tower mint, under the King. Mint mark, Anchor. Obverse: Large bust of King left, with rounded shoulder XII to right. Reverse: Square topped shield of Stuart arms. Some original luster and a good portrait. Struck on a good flan. Overall, a pleasing piece. In a new 4 prong NGC holder. NGC graded AU-53.
