Byzantine Empire. John V and Anna of Savoy, 1341-1347. Gold Hyperpyron Nomisma (4.47g), Constantinople. Similar to previous, but with sigla L - P on rev. DOC 942-3 var.; PCPC 190 (sigla not recorded); LPC p. 116, 1; Sear-Bendall 2466. Very Fine and rare and of full weight, considerable areas of flatness in the striking especially on obverse.
