Half-length figure of St. Demetrius facing, nimbate and in military attire, holding spear over l. shoulder, large B in field to l. Rev. Winged figure of Andronicus stg. facing, crowned and wearing loros, holding model of the city of Thessalonica in r. hand and scepter in l. DOC 849-51 (Class XLIV); PCPC 255; LPC p. 210, 11; Sear-Bendall 2370. Fine/very fine, rare and interesting.
