P. Clodius Turrinus, moneyer, c. 43 BC. AR Denarius minted at Rome. Laureate head right of Apollo; behind, lyre. Reverse: Diana Lucifera standing facing, holding two long torches, bow and quiver on her shoulder. Cr. 494/23; Syd. 117; Claudia 15. Nicely toned; Choice Very Fine.

A transitional issue struck during the Imperatorial period. The same moneyer also struck coins for Caesar and Octavian.
