Sicily, Siculo-Punic Coinage, c. 300-290 BC. AR Tetradrachm (16.8 g). Head right of young Melqart/Herakles wearing lion's skin. Reverse: Head and neck of horse left; behind, palm tree. Cf. Dewing 983; cf. Boston MFA 499; cf. Jenkins (SNR 57). Clear horse's eye on reverse. Choice Very Fine.
