1860 Army Colt. A Civil War period Colt Army Revolver SN#126740 (1863-1864). A .44 cal. round 8" barrel. A six shot round cylinder roll engraved with a Naval Engagement scene. It has walnut grips with some wear and a small chip on the upper right one. A re-stamped brass trigger guard. The pistol has drifted to a grey patina with some dark areas and salt and pepper pitting, Overall a good example of a Civil War period Colt.
