Breast Plate Awarded As Prize in 1830. A very interesting miniature hand hammered breast plate in the form of 16th century armor circa early 19th century and dated "1830". The front of the breast plate is engraved; "Susex Hall", "Sept 6 1830", "Grand 2nd Prize." This was probably a prize from a reenactment of a jousting tournament. It measures 13" high x 10 " wide.
