1934-C, $500 Federal Reserve Note Specimen. PCGS Currency Gem New 65PPQ. . Fr-2204-L. This Specimen note, which is unique to our knowledge, is essentially two specimen printings, a face and a back, mounted together on cardstock. It is the only example that we have ever seen, and the only like it graded by PCGS Currency. As no issued series 1934C $1,000 Federal Reserve Notes are known, this specimen remains the only opportunity for collectors to own this series. If rarity is any guide, expect this piece to easily reach or exceed our likely conservative estimate.
Estimated Value $20,000 - 25,000.
