1938-D Oregon Trail Half Dollar. NGC graded MS-67. Deep sunset toning that deepens at the borders. Low mintage date [6000]. In an old style holder. This beautiful coin exhibits the smooth satin luster of a high-end Oregon Trail half dollar making for a well presented and fully struck example that collectors expect to find in the grade. Elusive as a Superb Gem 67. No one can honestly deny the vibrancy of the surfaces. This, too, shows in the fully struck devices exhibiting fine detail to all the high points of the Indian and the covered wagon motifs.
