Manuscript document ordering payment to Hezekiah Huntington of "Six hundred Pounds in Specie…to be improved in providing Stores & for the Expedition designed against Crown Point the Current year. Stratford, 19 April 1756…," 4½ x 7½ in. Signed by Daniel Edwards and John Ledyard. Hezekiah Huntington became a Major in the Connecticut Militia in 1775. John Ledyard would serve as corporal of Captain James Cook's flagship "Resolution". He is the author of Journal of Captain Cook's Last Voyage To the Pacific Ocean, Hartford Connecticut, Nathaniel Patten, 1783.
