To an unknown woman, he inscribes, "Now my Dear Lady that I have…done with all sorts of scribblings allow me to be Your obt. Servt. John J. Audubon." Fine; light toning; frame needs retouching. Matted with a portrait of Audubon and framed to an overall size of 17 x 13½ in. With a COA from the late autograph dealer Charles Hamilton on the verso.
