Perón, Eva ("Evita") (1919-52) 2nd wife of Juan Peron; First Lady of Argentina (1946-52) where she remains a cultural icon. Typed letter signed in the greeting, as First Lady, on paper embossed "E.P.", inviting Senora Juana Larrauri de Abrami to the inauguration of the Children's City (La Ciudad Infantil) on 14 July (1949). Toned, else fine. With transmittal envelope. La Ciudad Infantil was a charity begun by Eva Perón.
